The state of travel to Japan. Should business travellers return?

Hi, everybody.

Here I am, again. Now I suggest writing about the business travellers in Japan. I have found an interview on the Internet about it, and I think it's an important theme to talk about in English. You can read the interview here.

You don't have to write a long text, just some lines or words, for example 120 words. Just try it. It could be very funny and interesting to write here in English. Don't worry too much about mistakes, they will disappear as long as you write in English.
See you,

  1. It’s really difficult this question!
But if I were a business woman, and I had an important business meeting in Japan, I’d go. Today the news is telling that the situation is very bad, the radioactivity has increased. But today Mr. Sarkozy has visited Japan in an official visit. David Jimenez is journalist of Mundo.es, and he has written an editorial titled “The embassy of the French cowardice” (here is the link www.elmundo.es/elmundo/2011/03/31/internacional/1301559118.html

In this editorial we can read some examples of Spanish business people who have decided to stay in Japan despite the radioactivity.
If you don’t go a business meeting, your competitors would go, and of course your Japanese client could think that your aren't valiant and secure of your self, and you aren’t able to do business.
There is another point that has attracted my attention: Japanese stock market hadn’t closed. Its main index Nikkei has fallen from 10254 points on 11 of March, to 8605 points on 15 of March, now the index is increase steadily.
I firmly believe that this is a strength and with that, Japan wants to send a message to the world: “We are going to continue”.

Please, send me the mistakes. I'll try to write once or twice a week because it's important for me to improve my written English. I'm studying a lot, because on June I'll try the exam B2.
    Thank you

  2. Hi Celia

Your essay is very good. The only mistakes are_

"...is a journalist..." don't forget the article.

"...go to a business meeting" don't forget "to"
    "... the index has increased..."

    Congratulations for your essay.

    Regards,
